About CALCAG

The Colchester Adult Learning Continuing Access Group (CALCAG), which is a registered charity (number 1095713), has been established since 2001 when the Grey Friars adult community college in High Street (top of East Hill) needed developing in terms of accessibility for students.

We soon realised that the work of the charity could extend beyond the Grey Friars property, in fact we realised that we could help people all over Colchester get access to the learning they wanted.

Having created campaigns and secured funding for several large projects, and some ongoing ones, we have established ourselves as one of the fastest growing charities in Colchester.
