Publications
Thanks to a bequest from former adult college student Joan Gray, the charity has been able to form a publishing department called Access Books. Proceeds from the sale of books help to fund CALCAG and its activities.
We also have a range of stationery items and historical / adult education memorabilia for sale.

Forthcoming Projects
“1,000 years of Colchester History”
The research undertaken for the exhibition during the 2007 Heritage Open Days (when Grey Friars was open for guided tours of its history and architecture) has turned up some fascinating facts. It has been suggested that we write this up in an illustrated book. Let us know if you’d be interested in such a publication.
“Against the Odds”
There are many inspirational stories of people overcoming all kinds of barriers to success. Whether the barriers were physical, psychological, social or financial we have heard wonderful examples of success against the odds. We are considering a book where people tell their success stories and say “We did it – so can you!” Watch this space.
